Q & A with Capture this Moment Photography
Questions for your wedding photographer
When I meet a bride and groom at a wedding fair they receive a small goodie bag from myself which contains a series of hints and tips cards with questions to ask some of your wedding suppliers when planning their special day. One of the cards features questions for your photographer, so in this blog post I thought I would share with you my answers to those questions.
When can we see the final images?
I aim to present the proof images online within 14 working days following the wedding date. However, depending on the time of year delivery could up to these images up to than 4 weeks after the wedding - I will keep you informed of progress, sometimes the delay maybe due to a family holiday, if this is the case I will let you know in advance.
2. Will we have a pre-wedding photo shoot?
Yes, each couple is offered a session, I think it is really beneficial and a really good way for us to get to know each other a little more. There are loads of benefits to a pre wedding photo shoot - find out more about them here
3. Do you hold insurance?
Yes, I have both public liability and professional insurance as well as employee insurance
4. Who holds image copyright?
Kathryn Goddard of Capture this Moment Photography LLP retains copyright of all images created and will have the right to make reproductions for use in portfolio samples, self- promotion, advertisement material, art showings and professional competitions. This includes my business facebook page, my website and blog. You can request that images are not used by myself, I will always respect your privacy.
5. What happens if you’re ill or your equipment fails?
I work very closely with a group of very experienced wedding photographers who are all based in Gloucestershire, this is my first point of contact if I am ill and unable to attend your wedding. I am also a member of the Guild of photographers. At each wedding I have with me at least two professional camera bodies (there is a third camera body in my car too), a wide selections of lenses, four speed lights, as well as a selection of other equipment so that I can carry on capturing your special day. The cameras I use each have two memory card slots so a backup is made on the day. These are in turn backed up on my return home.
I hope you have found the answers to these questions useful and please feel free to contact me with any further questions
