Real Wedding | Kelly and Ashley at Old Court Hotel, Herefordshire
Kelly and Ashley’s wedding at the Old Court Hotel, Herefordshire
Getting Ready
Kelly along with her sisters and parents got ready ay her parent’s home, a nice relaxed morning. I used the gardens to capture some of the bridal details as well as on a wonderful shabby chic table. The family cat a little unsure of everything going on and kept a safe distance from everyone. Once everyone was ready I took the opportunity to capture a few family images before heading to the venue.
Kelly and her Dad travelled to the wedding venue in a car provided by Satin and Lace.
Ashley travelled to the venue also in style, due to the distances involved I employed a local photography student who I have meet at a previous wedding to capture a few images of Ashley’s arrival as well as some of the guests arriving before the bride’s arrival.
The ceremony
The intimate ceremony was beautiful and was held in the function room at the venue, featuring live music and a reading from Ashley’s sister. The sunflower theme added a wonderful splash of colour.
The reception
The drinks reception was held on the lawn and I also used this location for the formal group shots and of course for the confetti shots!
For their couple shots we headed down to the River Wye, giving Kelly and Ashley the opportunity to spend some together and also for Ashley to enjoy a ride in the wedding car that Kelly arrived in. After the speeches and the wedding breakfast guests headed back into the gardens while myself, Ashley and Kelly headed back down to the river to make use of the pretty evening light. On our return to the hotel, the evening guests had started to arrived and it was a lot fun to capture all the dancing.
Thank you Kelly and Ashley for having such a beautiful wedding.
