Real Wedding | Sophie and Jason at Perrygrove Railway, Gloucestershire
Sophie and Jason decided to say I do at the wonderful, quirky wedding venue Perrygrove Railway here in the stunning Forest of Dean. A beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon last June was perfect for an early summer wedding.
For Sophie and Jason, I was able to offer them a bespoke package (pop me an email if you would like to chat about a bespoke package for your special day) to ensure they had exactly the moments they wanted captured.
The wedding day
I meet Jason at the venue prior to the ceremony, this allowed me to capture a few of Jason along with his best man, the guests arriving as well as any details.
Sophie arrived along with the couple’s daughter both wearing sparkly Vans ( a fantastic choice of footwear!), we had a bit of time before the ceremony to take a couple of images of them along with Sophie’s Dad before the ceremony started.
The ceremony took place in the carriage Shed at Perrygrove a great space, big windows along one side letting in lots of natural light which was great for me as it created wonderful pools of light perfect for capturing the ceremony and the emotion of the day.
After the ceremony, many congratulations the group shots and of course confetti we all headed on a train ride - one of the fabulous unique features of a wedding at Perrygrove is you get a train for your wedding! It is always great to capture everyone enjoying themselves.
Before leaving I also spent time with Sophie and Jason to capture some images of the two them, these moments away from family and friends is the perfect opportunity to reflect and to capture a moment or two that they will treasure for a long time.
If you are planning a wedding at Perrygrove and want to chat (I have exclusive offer just for weddings at Perrygrove!) drop me an email and we will get that booked in.
