Real Wedding - Stephanie and Chris's Winter Wedding at Tracy Park
Stephanie and Chris’s winter wedding at Tracy Park, South Gloucestershire.
In between Christmas and New Year, I had the pleasure of capturing this wonderful winter wedding.
Stephanie along with her bridesmaids got ready at the wedding venue, it was a wonderful relaxed morning with plenty of giggles. I used the grounds of venue to capture some of the bridal details to capture some of the bridal details. The groom, his ushers arrived ahead the ceremony and I used the opportunity to capture some portraits of the boys - as Chris pointed out a bit like a boy band shoot - before the ceremony. It was also a great opportunity to capture some of the guests arriving. Back with the girls, a few informal groups were captured along with the bride’s fathers first glimpse of his daughter in her wedding gown, a stunning off the shoulder gown with a gorgeous veil.
The ceremony was just a short walk through the grounds and in a beautiful space filled with natural light. There were not many dry eyes during the ceremony which featured a reading from one of the couples close friends.
The drinks reception was downstairs in the wonderful lounge which was certainly appreciated by many of the guests as it was a rather chill December day. Luckily the weather was in our favour and it remained dry for the day, the main entrance to the manor house was a wonderful backdrop for confetti, formal group shots and a few of the newly weds (perfect for showcasing Stephanie’s amazing veil!)
For their couple shots we wandered around the grounds and found some lovely spots for some portraits and to also give Stephanie and Chris the opportunity to spend some time together. We even managed to find some colour! Heading back indoors gave the couple the opportunity to spend time with their guests and to warm up a bit!
During the wedding breakfast a surprise had been arranged by a family member - a wonderful singer who entertained everyone and really got the party started! The speeches were from the heart. and After the speeches and the wedding breakfast, guests headed back to the lounge while myself, Stephanie and Chris headed back outside to make use of the up lighters which illuminated the outside of the building, to grab a few images with sparklers, and to create a few more portraits.
The couple surprised their guests with a wonderful choreographed routine which they had learnt in the weeks leading up to their wedding day. It was a amazing! The dancing carried on long into the evening with lots of great shapes being made on the dance floor!
Here are a few of my favourite images from their special day, enjoy x
