Children are constant reminders to us that time does not stand still. Every day that passes they are a little older than the one before and a step closer to growing up. Being part of a family is so consuming that it is too easy to let those valuable and irreplaceable moments just pass by unnoticed. As an experienced family photographer I want to give you the gift of these memories and allow you to freeze time, just for a little bit, using photography.
Working with children requires a certain level of patience as they don’t always do what they are asked to do but this is this very reason that I love working with them. When you come to me for your family photography session, I aim to capture the true essence of childhood and so provide a fun and relaxed setting where all those involved are free to be themselves.
I also love to use props in my sessions, especially with young children. I always invite the families to bring anything that is important to their kids such a favourite teddy bear or doll. These simple objects not only put the little ones at ease but they often animate them, enabling me to capture beautiful, natural images that encapsulate the joy of childhood.
The most important thing to me is that my customers feel comfortable and at ease in the presence of me and my camera.
