Wedding Inspiration – Styled Shoot Pitville Pump Rooms
Earlier this year I was invited by Pitville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham to organise a styled shoot to showcase the venue, my first point of call was to find other suppliers who made be interested in working on the project, after all, everyone will be working for free in exchange for images which they can use.
I decided to approach other wedding suppliers who also exhibited at a recent wedding fair organised by Wedding Angel at the Pump Rooms. One of this replies came from Tilly – a wedding planner who had recently start her business. Meeting Tilly, it was clear we both have a love of books including Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, as a result Tilly was keen to explore this idea and incorporate it in the shoot. I must admit I am a bit of fan of Jane Austen, the books, the tv adaptations and of course the films – Colin Firth will always be the perfect Mr Darcey.
Quickly, a team of talented wedding suppliers were assembled, all keen to work with Tilly’s ideas.
The day itself was a buzz of activity as everyone worked quickly together to ensure all their tasks would be complete in time for the photos to be taken. The end result was amazing, the pump rooms were dressed for both s ceremony and wedding breakfast, tables laid for 50 guests along with wedding favours, origami flowers created from pages of pride and prejudice. With a bride, groom and 4 bridesmaids, hair and make up were kept busy making everyone look amazing.
A very big thank you to all the suppliers involved – the end results were amazing. I would highly recommend all the suppliers who took part on the day and suggest popping along to their websites to see what else they can offer to help you plan your perfect day.
